Located in Civray-de-Touraine, Hostellerie du Chateau de l`Isle is in a rural location, a 5-minute drive from Chateau de Chenonceau that long time ago was property of the Crown, then royal residence, it is an exceptional site, by its original design, the richness of its collections, its furniture and its decoration, but also by its destiny, since it was loved, administered and protected by women, all out of the ordinary and who, for the most part, have marked history. Visitors will also find Caves du Pete Auguste, a traditional Wine Cellar available for visits and tasting. This lovely village is situated in the Loire Valley region, where visitors can take a stroll through the streets and be rewarded by some unusual sites and find a particular driveway of an antiques dealer on Rue Bretonneau. The hotel is about 25 minutes walking from the Train Station and about 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Poitiers-Biard Airport. Use of rental car recommended.
